This Treadle Style Potter’s Wheel has been designed and engineered in cooperation with art professors at one of the nations largest universities. It features: Treadle wheel design provides a unique sense of wheel head control (great for beginning or experienced students) Large 30 in. x 30 in. x 5 in. heavy gauge, rustproof steel pan, overall height 36 in. Strong all steel construction, electrically welded to last a working lifetime. Heavy 13 in. cast aluminum wheel head, precision machined with concentric lines every 1/2 in. Two removable bat pins on 10 in. centers for standard bats. Long-life permanently sealed bearings never need oil. Standing position with hip rest reduces back strain. 100 pound, 20 in. flywheel. Trim bar for foot rimming and decorating. All 7 points of action are precision ball bearings. The anchor end of the treadle and heavy cold rolled 1 in. main shaft operate through rubber-mounted precision bearings to insure smooth, quiet operation. The link and treadle support rod are mounted with uncial ball bearings and engineered for a low-effort, natural treadle stroke. Built rugged and strong with heavy angle iron legs and mainframe.
